The HR team at Abingdon and Witney College are looking for a Staff Health, Safety and Wellbeing Adviser to develop, co-ordinate and administer a range of health, safety and wellbeing services for staff.
The role involves supporting managers with staff risk assessments, carrying out DSE assessments, ensuring staff are suitably trained in all areas of health and safety, maintaining records relating to staff including supporting the Head of Health and Safety with overseeing Fire Wardens, First Aiders and Minibus Drivers, as well as ensuring staff compliance with health and safety software such as driving for work and training requirements.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills as well as the ability to communicate well with colleagues at all levels of the organisation, be qualified to Level 3 in Health and Safety (or willing to qualify), and have the ability to produce thorough and accurate risk assessments.
