We are helping to build a top 10 worldwide e-commerce platform, that is currently deployed in 9 countries. We are on a transformative journey to modernize our customer platform and systems to support our big ambitions. Is this you? If so, you have a broad knowledge of Platform development, you are a person connected with digital transformation, and who likes to share and learn new technologies.
More importantly, you have a track record of using your knowledge to design resilient, scalable, and highly available (HA) solutions for large and complex enterprises. You are a quick learner, understand that listening is as important as speaking, and you feel excited about actively collaborating on new solutions during whiteboard sessions.
We are looking for someone with the following experiences:
- 5+ years of experience with native Android development
- 2+ years of experience with Kotlin,
- Understand RESTful API’s and how to integrate them with the app;
- Handle background processing features;
- Improve code quality using linters and instruments;
- Adopt good practices for localization to different languages;
- Creating Unit Tests, UI Tests, and Snapshot tests;
- Experience with android build pipelines;
- Experience with version control utilizing Git;
- Good communication, since you will work on a very dynamic project, interacting with different people among teammates, colleagues, and clients;
- Eager to learn every day;
- Capable of sharing and exchanging knowledge with people with different seniority, from juniors to managers;
- You care about the quality of the product being delivered and work to have your activities properly validated and tested according to the established processes and frameworks.
If you have these experiences it would be even better
- Experience with MVVM pattern;
- Create custom animations (Native and with custom libraries);
- Adopt good practices for localization to different languages;
- Experience with quality tools (SonarQube);
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps Preferable);
- The desire for new challenges;
- Eager to learn every day;
- Are self-taught;
- Are open and willing to work with not only one language/technology on a daily basis;
- Are aware and work towards the generation of business impact to our clients by delivering value
You are going to be responsible for:
- Working on the development of a platform as part of an international project.
- Being part of a development team, work on the full lifecycle of the mobile application development.
- Utilizing the CI&T tools according to the development processes.
- Sharing knowledge with pairs and leaders.
- Making sure the delivered product matches the business requirements and criteria.
