What You’ll Bring:
- 10+ years of direct experience in FP&A, accounting, corporate strategy, or business operations
- Demonstrated success in managing direct reports, as well as influencing others without formal authority
- Power user with typical financial software packages, including Microsoft Office, large ERPs, financial planning systems, and Business Intelligence / Data Visualization tools
- Natural Communicator – Strong writing skills and the ability to effectively make formal and informal presentations to all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage the details without losing sight of the big picture
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- High intellectual curiosity and learning agility
- Comfortable in a deadline-driven and rapidly evolving environment
- Self-starter who can work autonomously, but wants to be a high-impact team player
- Bias towards embracing and leading change
- This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at our Chicago, IL or Reston, VA TransUnion office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Impact You’ll Make:
- Lead the FP&A consolidation function for the US Markets segment, including managing the monthly close/forecasting processes and aggregating inputs to produce executive-level reports (monthly CEO business reviews, quarterly earnings, quarterly Board meetings, etc.)
- Provide core FP&A support for Corporate Marketing function, including business partnering, budget management, and monthly reporting workstreams
- Support the Sr. Director of FP&A and the US Markets segment CFO in the creation of new or ad-hoc analyses and reporting
- Develop new processes and reporting to advance the consolidation function with a focus on high-impact reporting and efficiencies
- Improve forecasting and reporting processes in support of the Corporate Marketing function
- Contribute to the growth and development of more junior associates
- Participate in high-impact, special projects that improve forecasting accuracy, expand business collaboration, and increase business insights
