Full-Time Sr. Headcount Planning & Analysis Manager

The Headcount Planning Manager will be an important member of the Finance team. This position will be responsible for creating reporting, analyzing data and communicating headcount data related data like hiring trends, attrition rates and compensation information. This information and analysis will be communicated to the Finance Team, Recruiting Team and Leadership team to provide them insights into headcount that ultimately drives costs related decisions around headcount hiring. The ideal candidate possesses strong analysis skills, is detailed oriented and understands Financial and People tracking systems like Workday or Adaptive Insights
- Create and maintain financial models that may cover areas including attrition, hiring data related to market or company metrics and projected hiring trends
- Support and improve the existing annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes by building models around hiring capacity, attrition assumptions and related costs that are used by Finance Team and Budget owners.
- Work with headcount data across Adaptive Planning and Workday to ensure accuracy and automation of active employee data and job req data between systems.
- Create Dashboards and Reporting highlighting headcount related information that is used by Finance Team and Budget Owners to help understand company of business unit trends.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of financial analysis experience
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience building detailed financial models
- Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of partnering within and across functions to improve processes and drive results
- Basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Workday, Adaptive Planning, iCIMS or similar systems
- Public company finance experience
- Advanced degree and/or professional certification (MBA/CPA/CFA)
