Summary:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of complex analytical, financial, and Regulatory Reporting tasks. Primary data management and data architecture support for Finance/Actuarial Data Mart. Works with key stakeholders in the Finance area (and across the organization as needed) on data-driven and financial analysis.

What You’ll Do:
· Build and maintain code(s) related to regulatory reports such as HFMR, MLR, and reserves.
· Complete recurring and ad hoc reports related to reserves, HFMR, and MLR analysis.
· Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in database-centric tables, documents, and reports.
· Work with other key stakeholders within the company on data-driven analysis and database maintenance.
· Build and maintain Finance/Actuarial Data Mart(s).
· Audit support for regulatory reports.
· Provide narrative on changes related to regulatory reports.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on data-driven analysis and database maintenance.
· Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
· Assist with regulatory reporting
· Provide ad hoc financial reports, tables, and exhibits as requested.
· Work with other key stakeholders within the company on data-driven analysis and database maintenance.
· Develop and lead business analytics and reporting – Lead the development and implementation of strategies for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data. Advance the data and analytics function to apply statistical techniques, data mining, and predictive modeling to derive insights and support decision-making across the organization.
· Train members of the team and produce/support documentation of complex data processes, mapping, and tools.
· Develop data tools and reports in Support of Value-Based Contracting reporting
· Develop data tools and reports in Support of Financial reserves
· Other duties and special projects as assigned to further company, department, and plan goals.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with proven expertise in Microsoft Excel.
· Experience with MS SQL Server, designing/executing complex queries, populating data
· Knowledge of relational database concepts.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Advanced interpersonal skills, maturity, and sound judgment are required.
· Capable of meeting tight deadlines consistently.
· Good interpersonal skills with the ability to act alone or in a team.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
Education and Work Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance is required (or demonstrated relevant mob experience).
- 6 + years of demonstrated experience in financial modeling and analysis required.
- Experience in a managed healthcare environment is preferred.
- Experience in Medicaid preferred.
- Strong background in SQL Server, relational database concepts, and analytics.
