About the role:
The Senior Director of Content Acquisition and EMEA Business Development will be responsible for leading the global acquisition and integration of audio content and metadata for DTS AutoStage as well as regional business development and sales for Xperi broadcast products within EMEA. This position will both oversee a cross functionality business/technical team to ensure all broadcast related content is accurately integrated within DTS AutoStage and is maintained to ensure we can meet our automotive SLAs. In addition, the position will be responsible for developing and executing business development and sales efforts to increase broadcast revenue, license TiVo Metadata to broadcasters through Europe, Middle East and Africa, with a primary focus on Europe. This position will represent the full broadcast technology portfolio (including TiVo music metadata) and be expected to grow Xperi’s broadcast market position by identifying, developing, negotiating, closing, and managing broadcast business relationships.
The initial responsibilities will focus on refining and deploying the cross-functional, global radio station content on-boarding and validation processes. It is expected that this will require 5-7 months to fully define and implement and will be the primary area of focus. As this process gets implemented and transitions to a maintenance/support mode, the senior director of Content Acquisition and EMEA Business Development will be expected to grow new business, manage client retention, develop strategies for sales and client engagement, and additional functions to meet/exceed revenue targets.
This position will report to the Senior Vice President of Broadcast Radio.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain on-boarding and quality processes to ensure accurate integration of broadcast radio metadata.
- Direct and prioritize the on-boarding activities of the cross-functional technical and editorial teams to ensure timely station integration and reduce client back-log.
- Ensure operational and quality objectives are maintained relating to broadcast radio station information, dynamic metadata and programming.
- Identify new opportunities within current and potential customers to grow Xperi broadcast revenue.
- Support the development and implementation of go-to-market strategies, planning and pricing for broadcast technology portfolio
- Assist in managing strategic broadcast programs and partnerships
- Represent Xperi and the broadcast portfolio at strategic industry tradeshows, meetings,
- Identify future business growth areas and opportunities to grow the broadcast technology offerings and more
- Coordinate with corporate marketing for appropriate business development and product support materials
- Negotiate new partnership contracts and existing renewals
- Manage sales records, reporting, and analytics
- Collaborate with internal corporate teams to execute day-to-day functions

The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $138,113 – $183,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
