Overview
As the Sr Associate, Branded Video, you will report to the Manager, Branded Video, working closely with all pre and post sale teams on brand partnerships rooted in custom video across multiple platforms and styles of video storytelling. As part of the Creative Studio, you will focus on ideation, script/video development, and execution—translating the Morning Brew voice and tone into videos across our properties (Youtube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, etc).
What you’ll do:
– Contribute to brainstorms in pre-sale and collaborate with the Creative Strategy team to ensure Branded Video ideas are executable and clearly communicated to the client.
– Visually represent ideas in decks and presentations featuring example ideas, talent, look and feel, and any other details necessary to showcase an idea
– Provide budgets in partnership with the Creative Ops team for all pre-sale video ideas and ensure budget adherence in post-sale
– Write, create, and produce our branded videos with logistical support from the Creative Ops team
– Collaborate with the Creative Ops team to lead in-studio, location, and travel shoots directly and/or with freelance help
-When needed, using video editing skills to create polished, high-quality final videos
-Work with Manager, Branded Video to create a slate of proactive ideas rooted in our overarching sales strategy
-Along with Manager, Branded Video, maintain a relationship with our editorial video team to understand their goals, new franchises, and to ensure a collaborative process.
What makes you qualified:
– 3-4 years experience working at a publisher or agency
– Experience with branded content across all video mediums
-Expertise in brainstorming and collaboration
– Ability to communicate complex video concepts in easy to understand verbal and written formats
– A proactive, solution-orientated outlook
– Knowledge of video production equipment and vendors- Experience conducting interviews in various settings (live, junket, on location)
– Experience directing talent and managing crews
