Position Summary:

Position Summary:

Trupanion is seeking a Software Project Manager to lead in delivering software development and IT implementation projects that provide exceptional business value. The Project Manager will plan, organize and motivate teams to achieve high level of performance and quality.

The ideal candidate will use good communication skills as a liaison to IT and business groups on changes, milestones and dependencies. You must be a results-oriented individual who can think strategically, adapt quickly, and rapidly earn credibility and trust with all levels of the organization.

This position is an entirely remote role open to candidates anywhere in Canada.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Define project scope and work plans using standardized project management processes and reporting with activities, dates and resources
  • Effectively identify and mitigate risks and issues
  • Actively communicate with other project teams to identify cross-dependencies and resolve roadblocks
  • Produce project management documentation, such as project plans/timelines, project requirements and success criteria, meeting materials and presentations, status reports, budget reports, and other project documentation

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of software or IT related Project Management experience

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with experience leading multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner.
  • Self-starter with ability to build a strong rapport with resources across multiple functional areas.
  • Ability to follow standard methodologies in relation to project management and delivery
