Your Role and Responsibilities:
• Perform software engineering that includes software planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, debugging, and installing large scale software systems.
• Perform as part of an integrated product team leveraging Agile test-driven software development methodologies and a modern DevSecOps pipeline.
What You’ll Need:
• 2+ years of software programming experience in Java and JavaScript libraries/frameworks for full stack web application development.
• Experience in Agile Software Engineering Processes and Life Cycle.
• Experience working within automated development/build environments leveraging tools such as Git/GitLab/Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting using effective communication and writing skills.
• This position requires an individual to be a US citizen and either have, or be able to obtain, and retain a DoD clearance.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate each department at the assigned facility.
Location:
This is a full-time hybrid position based in San Diego, CA. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of working from home while also engaging with the team in person at the client office twice a week, with occasional additional days as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation range for this position in California is $100,000/year to $150,000/year; however, G2 offers competitive compensation within a range based on your expertise, market location conditions, and government contract specifics. Our benefits package includes a full range of medical coverage, a 401k plan, and an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), and other benefits dependent on the position offered, ensuring you are well-rewarded for your contributions. Base compensation information is based on market location.
