APLA Health’s mission is to achieve health care equity and promote well-being for the LGBT and other underserved communities and people living with and affected by HIV. We are a nonprofit, federally qualified health center serving more than 14,000 people annually. We provide 20 different services from 15 locations throughout Los Angeles County, including: medical, dental, and behavioral health care; PrEP counseling and management; health education and HIV prevention; and STD screening and treatment. For people living with HIV, we offer housing support; benefits counseling; home health care; and the Vance North Necessities of Life Program food pantries; among several other critically needed services. Social Media Manager (90005)
$51,343 to $63,780. Salary commensurate with experience.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Chief Marketing & External Affairs Officer(CMEAO) develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and revenue across APLA Health’s related brands. Responsible for coordinating the creation of content, managing posts and responding to followers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up, monitor, manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns from start to finish.
• Drive lead generation for multiple brands via SEM and paid social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram).
• Collaborate with team to gather customer feedback, identify key insights and optimize marketing messaging.
• Measure and track the overall progress of digital marketing efforts. Create monthly/weekly data reports for each brand.
• Customize performance reports for various purposes. Compile daily, weekly, monthly, and lifetime reports to quantify results and communicate them out to the team.
• Analyze metrics, provide campaign effectiveness reports, and implement optimizations.
• Gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions.
• Assist in creating new ad copy and imagery for paid and organic social media posts.
• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
• Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).
• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.
• Conduct social monitoring, listening, and engagement on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency.
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout).
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED TO MEET BUSINESS NEEDS.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS degree in Marketing or relevant field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrable experience building SEM campaigns and driving leads for B2B companies.
• An expert in FB, Google, LinkedIn and YouTube paid Advertising.
• Advanced in Google Analytics and data analysis.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert at communicating performance and digging for information in order to create unique campaigns.
• Deep understanding of conversion funnels.
• Proven work experience in social media management.
• Excellent copywriting skills.
• Ability to strike that unique balance of being both creative and analytical and comfortable discussing both.
• Must be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaign.
• Knowledge of split testing, targeting testing, and creative testing in order to compare results across campaigns.
• Demonstrated capability of self-direction and motivation. Ability to make decisions, run tests, and drive the business forward.
• Must be solutions oriented.
• Ability to coordinate the creation of creative content (text, image and video)
• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
• Knowledge of online marketing channels.
• Must be able to multitask and stay organized.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Must be an Innovative thinker willing to identify and try new strategies.
• Must be a collaborative team player.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is primarily an office position that requires only occasional bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and moving of office materials weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires daily use of a personal computer and requires entering, viewing, and revising text and graphics on the computer terminal and on paper.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid California driver’s license; proof of auto liability insurance; and have the use of a personal vehicle for work related purposes.
