We are currently looking for a Social Media Insights Analyst to join our Global Team either in the United Kingdom or North America to be responsible for the creation and on-time delivery of high quality social media reports (including monthly, quarterly, campaign and crisis). The Social Media Insights Analyst will serve as a partner to our clients by offering strategic advice and recommendations based on social media data.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Deliver monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc social insight reports. These could include competitor analyses, campaign performance reporting, content audits, consumer and brand research, providing strategic, actionable recommendations on how TSE’s clients can improve their social media activity
- Present insights to our clients and internal teams, either in person or virtually
- Set up insight tools and dashboards, including creating and optimizing social listening queries
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to help manage their insight needs, providing ideas and solutions for different client challenges
- Respond in a timely way to ad-hoc requests, and offer guidance to our internal teams and clients as a knowledge expert
- Identify innovative ways to present Insights using new technology or methods, always striving to answer the ‘so what?’ question on every project
- Be an expert in social media insights, with the ability to communicate clearly and with authority to clients and staff
- Exceed our clients’ expectations – we work with the biggest and most famous brands in the world and they look to us to lead and deliver an efficient and exceptional experience
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Essential:
- Mid level experience in working with social media insights, analytics or strategy
- Familiarity with social media analytics, including setting and tracking KPIs to help brands make decisions
- Solid experience creating social listening queries on Brandwatch or a similar tool, and drilling into unstructured data to find interesting nuggets of information
- Experience using Sprinklr, Khoros, or a similar analytics tool to gauge social media performance
- Be great at creating visually compelling social media reports that use data to tell a story
- Strong Powerpoint and Excel skills, including the ability to make and edit charts, use pivot tables, and create formulas to manipulate data
- The ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (at native level English), alongside a collaborative and conscientious communication style
- The ability to translate technical concepts into easy to understand insights and recommendations for non-specialists
- A responsive and positive attitude
- Troubleshooting and holistic problem-solving skills
- Passion for social media: whether you’re an active user of Twitter, TikTok or neither, we want you to be aware of emerging trends around platforms and best practice for brands posting on them
- A love of helping people 🙂
Desired:
- An understanding of secondary research sources that can complement social data – e.g. search, audience segmentation tools such as GlobalWebIndex (GWI)
- Experience with report design
- Experience working with finance or FMCG/CPG brands
- Some knowledge of community management or moderation
