Job Description
6 month Contract engagement – there is a change it could be extended.
Must be located near sites, as they will be traveling to them.
Work will be performed on-site at the following Client locations*:
• RRMC Campus – 2825 E Barnett Road, Medford, OR
• TRMC Campus – 500 Ramsey, Grants Pass, OR
• AACH Campus – 280 Maple Street, Ashland, OR
• Contact Center – Center Drive, Medford, OR
• APP External Clinics – Various addresses in Medford, Ashland, and Grants Pass, OR
* Technicians will work off a burndown sheet at a site level of devices to complete. Once the site is complete, they will move to the next site. Service technicians will not be traveling from site to site on any given day.
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB
The Services Technician performs configuration, modification, repair, testing and/or servicing on IT devices, including, but not limited to: hardware and peripherals and software configuration.
Essential Functions of the Job:
• Manage standard desktop and laptop hardware, including applying BIOS updates
• Strong device deployment/migration experience using Active Directory, SCCM, MDR, WDS, LAPS, TPM, and Bitlocker within an enterprise environment.
• Basic knowledge or understanding of SCCM is fine – we can further train in this area.
• Experience in enterprise deployments like Win10 – will be working with other technicians to bring this person up to speed.
• Perform workstation imaging using PXE Boot and standard images
• Troubleshoot basic imaging issues.
• Perform Quality Control inspections.
• Time management skills to ensure the efficient utilization of *** resources including parts, tools, inventory, own time, etc.
• Represent *** in a professional and business-like manner and communicates effectively with ***’s associates and their client’s.
• Assist other team members on projects as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year College or university or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PC’s, messaging and server software applications experience required. LAN/WAN, and ability to automate tasks using basic scripting techniques a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, vendor diagnostics, Active Directory, and imaging software such as Ghost, MDT, or SCCM.
• Minimum of one year hardware troubleshooting experience, which needs to include laptops and desktop for Tier One vendors
• Should also be familiar with vendor web sites in order to find hardware updates, driver updates, and engineering changes) as well as on multiple Tier One products (IBM, Compaq, Client, Dell).
• A+ certification and at least one vendor hardware certification required.
• Minimum of one (1) year bench and/or on-site service technical experience.
• Reliable transportation required
• Comfortable working evenings/nights/weekends with light supervision
