Full-Time SEO Team Lead – Sport
Job Description
The role is restricted to those physically located in Europe. While this is a remote position, we cannot consider candidates that are not based in Europe.
We at Raketech are looking for someone to lead our Sport vertical SEO team. The team’s mental wellbeing, personal development, and career progression are the top priority.
The ideal candidate has a passion for human relationships; they are supportive and want the team to succeed; ideally, they love sports and have worked with affiliate marketing and/or in the iGaming industry; they have strong competence in SEO and Project Management. Focus is on the creation of a positive, nurturing environment for all to work and thrive in.
Reporting to the Head of SEO, the successful candidate will engage with business stakeholders throughout Raketech, such as the Sales, Content, and Product departments, to ensure all technical requirements are planned for and delivered across the product teams. They will work with a dedicated team of SEO Managers, each of them responsible for a portfolio of sports products. The Team Lead will set the commercial success criteria, and support the Managers at a strategic level, in an agile framework.

- Helping the team members, supporting their wellbeing and pursuit of knowledge, and empowering them be their best selves
- Ensuring that SEO best practice has been taken into due account in the roadmap of all products
- Gauging the team’s technical knowledge and challenge them to always strive for improvement, setting up progression plans both at a personal and team level
- Helping their team members be knowledgeable, up to date with the latest from the SEO industry, and in constant training
- Driving successful commercial outcomes in their vertical
- Helping each Manager determine strategy and tactics for long- and short-term success, including the proposal of new brilliant ideas!
- Discussing and implementing SEO commercial success criteria and targets, such as Organic Traffic, Visit quality, Audience satisfaction, Ranking, etc.
- Have knowledge of multiple business models, including but not limited to the affiliation model
Job requirements
- People management skills
- P&L management and KPI evaluation
- Fluent English, both spoken and written
- In-depth understanding of SEO
- iGaming or sports affiliate industry experience an advantage
- Available to work +/- 2 CET
