The Opportunity
The scope of this position is wide but can be summed up into these main areas:
- Hands-on recruiting for all technical, production, and non-technical positions.
- Engaging with hiring managers across the organization to drive effective recruitment activity and outcomes.
- Working in close collaboration with the Manager, Talent Acquisition to plan and execute strategic talent acquisition initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Sourcing and recruiting technical and non-technical roles including software developers, DevOps professionals, UI/UX specialists, Data Analysts, Product Managers etc via various platforms, such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other niche platforms like Stack Overflow, and Github etc.
- Working with the Manager, Talent Acquisition and the broader People and Culture team to develop and drive a strong employment brand that positions Thrive Health as an employer of choice in the industry, professional communities, and amongst active/passive applicants.
- Hiring with a mindset for attracting and engaging with a diverse pool of talent to ensure we are attracting, hiring, and empowering people of all backgrounds to allow for a full spectrum of ideas, talent, perspectives, and experiences.
- Providing input and feedback with the Manager, Talent Acquisition to continually evaluate and improve our talent acquisition process and methods ensuring continuous improvement in branding, selection, interviewing, onboarding, training, metrics, and performance analytics.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of recruiting experience including 3+ years of tech recruiting experience with a ‘sourcing-first’ mindset.
- Solid experience using modern recruiting and sourcing technology stacks such as Fetcher and Bamboo.
- Passion for the craft of Talent Acquisition with prior experience in a strategic capacity.
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition best practices and current/future trends.
- Ability to speak confidently about employment branding and how it fits into the recruiting process.
- A naturally innovative mindset with strong business acumen and an ability to think creatively and strategically and execute tactically.
- Proven track record of an analytical mindset with the ability to collect and analyze data to provide insight into talent gaps and opportunities. Proven ability to use this data to develop action plans.
