We are recruiting a Senior Practitioner for our specialist psychosocial substance misuse service within HMP Wayland. A passionate and skilled team provide tailored interventions to service users who are located within the challenging prison environment. This service is one of many prison-based services across England, therefore the successful candidate will be able to share best practice and support from our services within the Phoenix Futures Group. The Senior Practitioner will play a crucial role in overseeing the development of the service and line management of staff.
Do you have?
- Experience of the substance misuse sector or related field
- Experience of delivering high quality work with service users
- An understanding of the complex issues presented by men entering custody
- A desire to work in collaboration with healthcare, mental health, community agencies and the prison service whilst adhering to security requirements
- A passion for supervision and developing your supervisees
- Willing to support your manager in leadership, managing the workload & data management
