Full-Time Senior Accountant
Job Description
InMotion Hosting is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to assist our team in making financial decisions and establishing procedures to ensure continued growth and success.

What You’ll Do:
- Enhance and manage month-end close processes, financial reporting, and analysis
- Manage and develop internal financial controls, policies and procedures
- General Ledger management, reconciliation, and transactional analysis
- Key role in new accounting system selection to include implementation, training and documentation
- Establish allocation and cost accounting processes through product lines
- Maintain and enhance fixed asset management system
- Assist in implementation of company, departmental and project-based budgets
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes
- Review and analyze current financial infrastructure and provide key insights to guide improvements in efficiency, production and profitability
- Analyze and maintain company Balance Sheet
- Forecast and create business modeling plans
- Lead special projects either individually or as part of a team

Ideal Candidates Have:
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA a plus
- In depth working knowledge of different accounting software and business platforms and their impact to a business
- Extensive knowledge of the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience using financial data to make and present suggestions for improvement in a clear and concise way to stakeholders and executives
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Sense of urgency and high attention to detail
- Experience leading and managing projects with cross functional teams

- Virginia Beach, VA
InMotion is currently operating on a remote basis due to the Covid-19 pandemic. When we return to the office this position is to be completed onsite in our Virginia Beach, VA office.
