We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Intermediate Representative, Shareholder Services to join our UKTA Investor Services team. This role is located in Edinburgh, Midlothian, United Kingdom- HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Responds to ad hoc requests for non-standard information.
- Processes complex updates to shareholder accounts.
- Serves as an escalation point for more junior team members.
- Assists professional and management staff by responding to phone, email and other inquiries regarding fund information, services and procedures.
- Responds to questions about shareholder accounts and provides more advanced technical assistance. Responses are fast, efficient and accurate.
- Addresses issues that have been escalated by junior team members and verifies their responses to shareholders.
- Researches and resolves moderately complex operational or shareholder issues.
- Routes issues that cannot be addressed at point of contact to appropriate team, in accordance with documented procedures.
- Assists in providing status updates on problem resolution and outstanding issues to professional and management teams.
- Assists with process improvement by contributing ideas to improve team efficiency.
- No direct reports. Provides guidance to less experienced staff.
- Responsible for the quality and completion of own work
- Point of knowledge for other team members regarding IRS regulations and internal processes, applications (including TRS and UDS) and functions.
- No direct reports.
- May have work allocation and team lead responsibilities .
- Helps develop and supports the achievement of team objectives.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in financial services preferred.
