About the Position
On our team, you will drive platform solutions that enable Microsoft 365 products to work seamlessly together, providing an effortless experience for users as they travel across devices and platforms. You’ll empower developers to build deep integrations with less effort, empowering them to reach more customers faster than before. You’ll do this by building powerful, performant, high-quality services that solve real problems and unlock opportunity previously only dreamed about.
You will partner with teams across Microsoft 365 and work directly with engineering and design to take a broad view on the platform, thinking not only about the traditional topics of APIs and extension points, but also about how composing these experiences impacts the user experience. You’ll identify core requirements, write specs, and make design tradeoffs that solve real customer problems. You will be in lockstep with engineering and design, seeing the product through delivery and in-market support.
We’re looking for someone who is ready to jump in and be a key contributor on the team, having immediate impact by:
- Bringing clarity to strategic opportunities that lie ahead for building out a scalable ecosystem through impactful storytelling, evangelization, and documentation
- Driving the near-term optimization and delivery of the platform to support in-market solutions while we’re building toward our vision
- Engaging with partners to understand their scenarios & requirements, and work with them to design E2E solutions that deliver great customer experience across the platform
- Deeply understanding the needs of Microsoft 365 developers (both first- and third-party) and end-users
Responsibilities

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years in the software industry, with at least 1 year as a Product or technical Program Manager
- Experience delivering APIs and/or services as a product
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience establishing platform and/or services strategy, designing simple yet highly scalable platform solutions, and bringing others along with your vision
- Ability to confidently navigate ambiguous problem spaces, adapt to new information, and drive forward progress in a rapidly changing startup environment
- Ability to effectively articulate business problems, alternatives, and product strategy in both written and verbal communication
- Growth mindset: Curiosity, a desire to learn, self-motivation to explore new ideas, a tendency to embrace challenges, learn from failures, and find inspiration in the success of others
