ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Hearst Institute as a Senior Tester at our brand-new state of the art testing site in Feltham. This role sits within the Homes category and will involve working with other members of the Homes testing team to test and analyse everything from blenders and stand mixers to vacuum cleaners and washing machines, for editorial and commercial purposes. You will also carry out research into products on the marketplace and consumer trends, when required.

 

The products we test sit across multiple Hearst brands such as Men’s Health and Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan, Elle and Good Housekeeping. Built on decades of product testing and expert editorial know-how, the results of our testing can influence purchasing decisions and assure consumers of the quality and value of a product or service.

 

ABOUT YOU
As the Senior Tester, your role would involve working closely and providing support to the Homes Testing Manager and deputising in their absence. You will assist in driving the Homes testing strategy across Hearst’s editorial and commercial platforms to maximise the reach and potential of our reviews. You will maintain specialist knowledge in all fields of testing within this category and liaise with internal stakeholders and external consumer queries.

 

·        You will have a keen interest in appliances and household goods.

·        Previous practical testing experience.

·        Eagerness to try new and inventive products.

·        Previous experience in leading projects.

·        Have the ability to build great relationships with PRs and brands.

·        Quick thinking and problem-solving skills.

·        Articulate with the ability to adapt your writing style.
