Full-Time Senior Product Manager, Acquisitions

THE ROLE

The Senior Product Manager, Acquisitions is responsible for planning and execution of roadmap initiatives related to doxo’s customer acquisition channels. This role will drive gathering and prioritizing customer, stakeholder, and business requirements aimed at evolving and optimizing customer acquisition through search, social media, and app store platforms.  This PM defines the roadmap aimed at optimizing doxo’s search footprint and other user acquisition channels. This role is responsible for evolving the network of directory of biller profile pages and hubs to improve customer acquisition and engagement.  This role also ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals for the consumer business, and that the entire organization is aware of both the goals and the product strategy for meeting them.

At doxo, our Consumer Applications are some of the most key components of our platform & business, helping millions of consumers across the US pay their bills online. The Consumer Applications evolve in parallel, but in tight coordination with the other product areas at doxo that drive evolution in sign ups, payments, our directory of providers, provider B2B services, and the broader platform. The acquisitions senior product manager has responsibility for the evolution of the customer journey and application features and user experience to enable a better online bill pay experience, and to take the anxiety out of the monthly bill pay ritual for consumer bill payers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Translate business strategy into product strategy and roadmap for the consumer subscription experience
  • Lead SEO roadmap planning and execution for doxo’s directory of billers to drive search users successfully to new doxo membership completion
  • Prioritize initiatives ranging from evolving biller profile pages and hubs, UX and page performance improvements, user engagement tests, and ensuring continuous improvements
  • Translate product requirements into functional and technical requirements in partnership with marketing, design and engineering teams organized in epic and story level detail
  • Create and maintain accurate product documentation for “as built” features and services powering the Consumer Applications in conjunction with the engineering team
  • Lead and/or participate in business case creation to justify and prioritize proposed product features
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities to achieve product goals in a cost-effective manner
  • Serve as an advocate of the consumer and a partner with customer care to help them effectively serve the consumer needs with the product
  • Partner with product marketing on evolution of the product offering and release plans to help drive awareness and adoption
  • Work in partnership with platform teams to ensure our suite of APIs powering Consumer Applications are aware of and actively working to prioritize application needs into the services platform roadmap
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition in doxo’s market space, and relating to our space
  • Act as a leader within the company and ensure awareness of strategy, goals, and KPIs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Product Manager
  • Experience in managing consumer service mobile and web products and features at scale
  • Experience in managing search network footprint and Search Engine Optimization to drive search rank and conversion
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent subscription products in the consumer software space
  • Experience with modern agile software development practices and collaboration software (Confluence, Jira, etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (MBA preferred)
  • Technical background, with experience in financial technology preferred
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
