Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Systems Manager to join our team. The Senior Manager Windows Engineering – Enterprise Systems, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Enterprise Systems Engineering, including building, maintaining, monitoring, supporting, break/fix and troubleshooting and driving automation initiatives, incorporating the latest technologies and best practices into systems and workflows, as well as managing a cross-regional team together with other counterparts as part of global team. The Senior Manager Windows Engineering – Enterprise Systems, will have a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Enterprise Systems, including Windows, VMware, Microsoft 365, Data Protection, Vulnerability Management, and Azure. The Senior Manager Windows Engineering – Enterprise Systems, will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our Enterprise infrastructure and managing smooth hand-offs to other regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide leadership to a cross-regional team of Enterprise engineers, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication across multiple time zones.

  • Lead a team of Enterprise Systems Engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support for their professional development.

  • Define global standards and best practices for all Enterprise Systems, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organization.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in Enterprise Systems and workflows, incorporating them into our infrastructure and processes.

  • Oversee and coordinate scheduled maintenance activities across regions, ensuring minimal impact on business operations and timely completion of tasks.

  • Collaborate with other Engineering Managers to align strategies, share best practices, and ensure cross-functional cohesion.

  • Handle support tickets and manage hand-offs between regions, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources to ensure prompt resolution of issues and excellent customer service.

  • Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems across regions to proactively identify and address potential system issues, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.

  • Collaborate with other teams, such as Compliance and Security, to ensure seamless integration of Enterprise Systems and adherence to organizational standards and policies across regions.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency, system performance, and user experience across regions.

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their applicability and potential benefits to our Enterprise Systems.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience leading Enterprise systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of Microsoft/VMware architecture, administration, and troubleshooting.

  • Minimum of 8 years of technical management experience, preferably managing complex and large Enterprise infrastructure.

  • Strong technical background in Enterprise system administration, including experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure AD, VMware vSphere, VMware Horizon, Data Protection, Vulnerability Management, and PowerShell.

  • Proven experience leading a team of Enterprise Systems engineers, including performance evaluations, coaching, and career development.

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-regional teams, preferably in an Enterprise Systems role, with a strong understanding of the challenges and considerations associated with coordinating activities across different time zones and regions.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools and proficiency in interpreting system logs and performance metrics.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
