We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Manager, Procurement to join our team!

You are a talented, motivated, and experienced supply chain manager that will lead our procurement team – managing all aspects of purchasing and planning in a secure, timely and cost-effective, measurable manner. You will work cross-functionally with warehouse operations, sales, R&D, manufacturing engineering, production, service and quality to coordinate the company’s material needs from development through build and support.

How You’ll Contribute

Strategic supplier relationships management and sourcing.
Manage – Approved Supplier List – Supplier Consolidation and Supplier Quality.
Identify, evaluate, and alert the internal team about supply risk. Propose and execute action plans to mitigate.
Actively pursue cost savings opportunities.
Assist and program manage supply chain side of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Support data analysis needed for strategic supplier analysis, supplier quality initiatives, and other compliance requirements.
Monitor and collect data on current operations including scheduling, sourcing, warehousing, production, and delivery.
Gather data on each step within the supply chain, using it to recommend changes to reduce costs.
Measure supply chain performance and report to management.
Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changes.
Retrieve data from MRP, track and publish metrics as defined.
Hands on working knowledge of forecasting and budgeting.
Other duties and tasks assigned to support NPI and Supplier Quality.
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management or related fields.
Four or more years’ experience in a supply management role or related position.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skill.
Project management.
Proven knowledge of inventory management.
Must have strong MS Excel skills.
Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data.
Interpersonal skills and ability to build, develop and maintain trusting relationships both internally and externally.
Attention to detail and analysis accuracy.
Ability to make decisions and commit to completion dates.
Ability to troubleshoot issues of high complexity.
At Ultima Genomics, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $155,000 and $175,000, if performed in California, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
