Full-Time Senior Manager, Office Operations

Job Description

The Senior Manager for Office Operations is responsible for supporting and leading Global Ties U.S.’s daily office functions. These functions include financial systems, human resource systems and information technology support. Specific HR responsibilities will include onboarding new staff, benefits administration, and initiating staff timecard processing. They will also have several responsibilities supporting the day-to-day finances of the organization, interfacing with our out-sourced accountant and working closely with the Associate Director for Grants & Finance. The Senior Manager will help maintain our contact and donor databases, supervising a Salesforce consultant, in addition to supervising consultants/vendors working on hotel procurement and IT. The position will provide ongoing internal/external meeting support and planning for all types of organizational gatherings and will help strategically lead office operations so that it is conducive to regular team building. We are seeking someone eager to help Global Ties U.S. grow and achieve its mission; the successful candidate must be hands-on and ready to step in wherever needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.A. preferred;
  • 10 years of experience working within administration;
  • Experience with MS Office, MS Excel, Quick Books, Paychex, Salesforce, and database software;
  • Experience managing staff, vendors, and consultants;
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of accounting;
  • Ability to manage large data sets;
  • Familiarity with federal grant guidelines;
  • Experience with payroll, benefits, and human resources;
  • Commitment to working within the office most of the workweek.
