Position Overview
This position is responsible for administering the day-to-day Human Resources activities of the organization, including ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. It demands a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment, as well as a high level of confidentiality and integrity. This position reports to the Human Resources Director.
Essential Functions
- Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
- Works closely with payroll team to ensure employee data and changes are captured and recorded.
- Oversees benefits administration to include enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, relationships with insurance broker and/or other third party business partners, and communicating benefit information to employees.
- Manage mailroom and ordering of office supplies.
- Works with Talent Acquisition Generalist in preparing new hires for orientation, new hire paperwork, etc.
- Schedule and manage new hire welcome sessions.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Updates and maintains organizational chart.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or (7) years of experience in the HR field, OR any similar combination of education and experience. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration
- Proficiency in using a variety of computer software applications, especially Excel and Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze data to determine trends
- Effective oral and written communication skills

This position is an office environment with very limited exposure to any outside fumes, odors, heat and/or weather conditions. This position is currently a remote position.
