Purpose of Role:
At Everland we are looking for a collaborative and results oriented Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and Campaigns to join our rapidly growing international team. The individual will be part of the Marketing & Communications team. The primary purpose of Everland’s Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and Campaigns is to advance Everland’s mission across priority audiences. The individual will be responsible for establishing from scratch our digital marketing and campaigns function to maximizing and give strategic lift to our digital offerings and content highlighting Everland’s portfolio of REDD+ projects.
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing specialist, with a proven track record of managing digital (Email and Paid Social) campaigns from conception to delivery across; social media platforms, working with external digital agencies to optimize results. You’ll have excellent analytical skills, with experience with SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics. Using data and insight to develop and iterate campaigns and maximize opportunities to increase audience engagement.
The individual will report to and work closely with the Senior Director of Communications. This is a remote position that is ideally based in the UK or USA (NY, DC, or IL).
Accountabilities
- Initiate our digital marketing strategy and roll out across the organisation covering paid and organic social media, emails, newsletters, website, and campaigns.
- Plan and deliver an annual programme of digital marketing campaigns and online engagement including paid-for-digital advertising, PPC, organic social media, email and the website.
- Manage Everland’s website and website vendor to ensure it is supporting our strategic goals.
- Work with the Impacts team to manage the client lockers and portals.
- Measure and analyse campaign metrics in real time making on-the-fly adjustments to boost effectiveness; make recommendations for more effective use of existing channels and identify new tools and channels to maximize results.
- Commission, project manage, and/or produce high quality digital content – video, graphic design, written, web.
- Project manage external vendors, agencies, and contractors.
- Work closely with the Senior Manager, Community Engagement and Impact Storytelling to ensure our content is promoted and maximised.
- Establish a high-quality digital magazine that showcases our work for customer acquisition and retention.
- Help set up a digital asset management system, to safely house our digital content, ensuring the correct permissions, consents, child protection and copyright standards are in place.
- Actively scan for risk and reputation issues across digital outlets.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- Passion for making a difference for forest conservation, wildlife protection, and community livelihood development.
- Bachelors degree preferred in a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years related work experience in digital marketing and campaigns.
- Someone who can create campaigns that demand attention, and drive action.
- Derive key insights from analytics platforms like Google Analytics & Ad Reporting.
- Experience with a fast-growing start-up and understand the challenges and opportunities inherent within such a working environment.
- Someone who can initiate a new process, own, and drive change in a collaborative way.
- Strong writing, editing, and communicating capabilities, and is passionate about impact-driven storytelling and communicating complex messages for non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing agencies and vendor relationships.

- UK Comp Range: GBP 55,000 – 70,000
- US Comp Range: USD 110,000 – 120,000
