Senior Manager – Communications
We are looking for a communications professional to work with our leadership team and our programs to create multi-channel communications campaigns and materials. The Senior Manager – Communications will create strategy for a variety of media, provide technical expertise, and work on issues that require an in-depth knowledge of the functional area where problems may not be clearly defined.
About the team
The Senior Manager – Communications will lead the Health District communications team to produce multimedia communications and marketing strategy and materials for the Health District.
The position
As Senior Manager – Communications, you will oversee the work of experienced professionals and regularly advise Health District teams. This position will oversee content that helps promote awareness, understanding, and utilization of Health District services, in addition to assisting in efforts to educate the community about critical health issues.
Pay range and status
- $91,127 – $116,188 per year DOQ
- 40 hrs/wk
- Monday – Friday

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field with 7 – 9 years of related and/or supervisory experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience level.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Manager – Communications will coordinate and work in conjunction with the Executive Director, Leadership Team, and Program Leadership to:
- Create, implement, continually monitor, and improve a Communications Plan to interpret the work of the Health District in the community through standard and innovative communications modalities.
- Develop policies and procedures regarding Health District communications.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson and media contact, developing and maintaining a positive working relationship with media contacts.
