Reporting to the CFO, the Senior IT manager will be responsible for agency’s entire IT infrastructure and data management needs.
About Job
- Manage a team of 5 IT professionals to support organization’s IT function.
- Review and update IT Infrastructure and Systems Roadmap and ensure roadmap is meeting the growing needs of agency and programs.
- Provide functional and technical leadership for the implementation and support of all software applications, modifications, and enhancements to systems that include: Nextgen, I2I, Blackbaud, Microsoft 365.
- Continual assessment of the organization’s security risk and vulnerabilities, adopting appropriate measures to protecting data, providing secured environment, using a combination of internal and external resources.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that comply with all state and national requirements and certifications.
- Troubleshoot technical issues within software applications, network infrastructure and telecommunication channels.
- Determine optimal structure of in-house and outsourced staffing to ensure optimal design, and functioning of network infrastructure, reliable communication channels, and support EHR and other systems.
- Ensure backup and recovery strategy and plans are updated, tested and training is up to date.
- Assume role of HIPPA Compliance Officer, audit systems and compliance to high tech HIPPA policies.

The ideal candidate:
- At least 15 Years IT experience, with 8 years in management role.
- BS in computer science or MIS related field or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of proven experience managing staff and demonstrated strategic planning, execution, and policy development, preferably in health care industry.
- Strong technical skills and overall knowledge of technological advances in telecommunications, networking, programming, and desktop applications.
- 5 years of experience with supporting clinical applications such as Nextgen or comparable system.
- Demonstrated experience with developing templates and writing scripts within SQL database.
- Expertise in data management, data security, and HIPPA governance.
