JOB FUNCTION
Position Summary: Senior Inventory Technician is responsible for pulling all dispensary / retail requested product from inventory to fill each product request and provide to Guest Services Associates.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer all cannabis and non-cannabis retail inventory tracking systems and update every morning and evening. Notify Production and Compliance Management of any inventory discrepancies in a timely manner and within CCC regulatory requirements.
- Communicating with internal Procurement Team to receive invoices, test results, and necessary information to prep for a delivery.
- Receiving inventory in METRC and Leaf Logix (Point of Sale software).
- Secure storage of product and organization/cleanliness of the vault.
- Inventory audits; being able to find discrepancies and solving them.
- Solving Leaf Logix and METRC integration errors.
- Work with Production and Compliance Management on:
- Regular inventory product audits
- Inventory levels and packaging planning
- Unwavering compliance with state/local regulations, security protocols, access protocols, and company policies, procedures, and SOPs
- Fulfill orders, complete manifest documentation, and facilitate with the intake and outtake of product with sales/account personnel
- Researching Inventory Variances.
- Record Keeping—Daily, Monthly, and Yearly Inventory Counts.
- Maintaining compliance of vault and inventory.
- Quality control of inventory at time of delivery.
- Reporting inventory levels to Procurement Team.
- Maintain knowledge of all system/policy changes in METRC and LeafLogix
- Maintain knowledge of Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission Regulations
- Conduct product counts inside the Inventory Vault and on retail floor to ensure and predict inventory requirements;
- Interface with Procurement Team regarding product type and inventory amount;
- Problem solve all product inventory issues, i.e.; shortages, conversion product loss, product documentation completion, product re-work, etc;
- Store all finished product onto inventory racks for on-hand inventory;
- Assists other areas as needed or assigned by supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education: N/A
Minimum Experience:
- 1+ years of backend inventory management or warehouse experience.
- 1+ years of Cannabis industry inventory/ production experience.
- Comfortable working with software inventory systems- LeafLogix and Metrc
- Intermediate computer literacy- windows suite, google, outlook
- Intermediate math skills
Preferred Experience:
- Some experience with inventory control recommended.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication & organizational skills and strong analytical and PC skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences.
- Great attitude with attention to detail
- Unquestioned integrity
- High energy with a desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Physical | Regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.

Hours & Conditions | Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Adapt schedule to work alongside the changing demands of the Facility. On a regular and recurring basis, the employee must alternate between contaminated/dirty environments to clean. Strong odors may be encountered. Work is generally conducted in heated and air-conditioned areas.

Other | Authorization to work in the United States, or the ability to obtain the same. Must obtain a State Agent Card. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. Must pass all required background checks.
