G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Assurance (IA) Compliance Specialist to assist the DoD Program Office in the management of the capability project portfolio in support of a DoD program.
Responsibilities:
- DoD Program protection policies, processes and compliance, e.g., anti-tamper, supply chain risk management, critical functional analysis, critical program information assessment, critical technology protection
- Link 16 or other NSS Foreign Military Sales (FMS) tactical data link or networking technologies
- Secure NSS software engineering/development/test/sustainment
- NSS software defined radio (SDR) engineering
- Work with internal and external stakeholders on COMSEC/cybersecurity/IA-related issues and policy compliance
- NSS testing
- Manage project and program management activities managing cost, schedule and performance, and identifying and mitigating risks
- Comprehensive understanding of DoD Program Protection policies, processes and compliance, e.g., anti-tamper, supply chain risk management, critical functional analysis, critical program information assessment, critical technology protection
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Master of Science degree from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline.
- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in Information Assurance (IA) System Architecture and Engineering (IASAE); cryptographic, Communications Security (COMSEC) and program protection engineering, including experience in complex/COMSEC system security requirements flow down and allocation, development, test, certification and operational employment of systems which meet medium-to-high DoD/National Security System (NSS) standards
- Minimum (3) years cybersecurity DoD acquisition and management in an Acquisition Category (ACAT) 1 Program
- Minimum six (6) years of cybersecurity experience with NSS tactical data link technologies (Link 16 preferred) implementation and operation
- Minimum five (5) years of experience interfacing with development and integration labs and operators for NSS and cybersecurity
- Minimum one (1) year of work experience handling COMSEC.
- US Citizenship and either currently hold or have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance and be TS/SCI Eligible.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to navigate each department at the assigned facility.
Location:
This is a full-time hybrid position. The workforce is required to report physically to the Client office located in San Diego, CA three times a week. Additional days at the office may be required from time to time as required to support the workload or client’s request. Travel<10%
Compensation:
The pay range for this position in California is $140,000/year to $200,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract wages, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. Base pay information is based on market location.
