Full-Time Senior HR Technology/HRIS Manager

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior HRIS Manager in West Hartford, CT, although the role can be fully remote. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our HR Technology resources in collaboration with the HR Operations, benefits, compensation, payroll/Finance, and IT functions. Lead governance and optimization of current HR systems and processes, and project management of planned systems to achieve our business and HR goals. Manage the relationship with vendors and consultants, as primary point of contact for service level agreements and issue resolution.
North and Central America is our sales zone, not our footprint. We have over 9,000 employees in 26 countries, with 6 separate HRIS ecosystems, plus connections to the HRIS ecosystem at our parent company, Legrand Group. Along with our parent company, we are excited about a transformational opportunity: moving to Oracl HCM globally, with the migration starting in 2023 and continuing through 2025 covering 90 countries and 35,000 employees. This role is a vital member of the integration and planning team.
What Will You Do?
- Plan, direct, and coordinate HRIS activities to maximize the effectiveness of human resources functions.
- Directly lead 4 HR Technology Analysts who manage the LNCA central HRIS ecosystem of Ceridian Dayforce + iCims ATS & Onboarding + Dovetail Case Management & HR Intranet + Workday Prism Analytics + CarltonOne P2M recognition.
- Provide oversight and coordination to the sysadmins of 5 additional HRIS eco-systems that are not yet integrated.
- Manage all aspects and oversight for 3 consulting firms – Ceridian Professional Services, Axl Ceridian Consultants, and Alight Workday Prism consultants.
- Develop close partnership and collaboration with counterpart and her team at Legrand Group. Manage feeds to their Global platforms of Cegid Talent Management, CrossKnowledge LMS, and MS Active Directory.
- Manage LNCA system migrations and acquisition integrations.
- In concert with our parent company and consultants, coordinate the Core HCM, ATS, Compensation Campaigns and other migrations to Oracle in 2024-2025.
- Update and own the LNCA HR Technology Integration Smartsheet project plans
- Probable BenAdmin module and platform migration in 2024.
- Usually 1-3 acquisition integrations and system migrations per year.
- Manage the Dovetail HRIS ticket queue for break/fix, enhancement requests, or reports.
- Build a triage and case prioritization process, developing and communicating Service Level Agreement commitments; keep stakeholders informed.
- Build an Agile development approach with clearly communicated sprints with planned commitments which are re-assessed quarterly and annually.
- Direct the design, selection and implementation or modification of HR technology solutions. Take co-ownership with the VP of HR People Services for the development of the HR technology roadmap for LNCA, including the annual update and state of technology, the 1 year budget proposal for it including business cases, and the 3 year strategic plan.
- Own and improve the HR Technology data structure for Compensation and Job Codes, Market data, and compensation planning administration. Opportunity depending on skill-set to take co-leadership of the virtual Compensation team, which is comprised of 3-4 people from other teams who spend a portion of their time on compensation.
- Effectively manage workforce analytics by maintaining and improving reports to provide insight for decision-support. Manage maintenance and accuracy and integrity of employee data, for reporting and distribution.
- Manage and oversee the LNCA HRIS systems including, but not limited to, testing and implementation, researching and resolving HRIS problems, performing scheduled activities, handling unexpected process flaws, and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements of organization HRIS needs. Projects will include system upgrades and implementations, data migrations, acquisition integrations, system consolidations and standardization, and new system selection/RFP.
- Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Deliver multiple continuous improvements each year that improve lives for managers, employees, and HR.
- Monitor budget and utilize operational resources.
- Travel as-needed a few times a year for a training/conference and for system migrations. Occasionally attend in-person meetings in West Hartford, CT.
- Ensure services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements related to recordkeeping and reporting.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of five years of relevant HRIS experience including system administration and project management.
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing direct reports, at least leading virtual/dotted line project teams of people who don’t report directly.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
- Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to data management (privacy, data transfer and retention, etc.)
- Sophisticated data analysis capabilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with prior experience in positions requiring communication with a broad and diverse audience.
- Should have knowledge of change management and implementing new programs.
- Competency with applicant tracking systems (iCIMS), Ceridian Dayforce HCM, and Oracle Cloud Fusion HCM preferred.
- Confidence, integrity, humility, high degree of initiative. Assertiveness and diplomacy to proactively manage multiple stakeholders with conflicting priorities and opinions.

- Able to work under pressure / multitask in a fast-paced environment
