As the Senior Director, Investor Relations, you will play a key role in developing our Investor Relations strategy and communications at GoPro. This position is highly influential with our investor community and will require tight collaboration with other senior leaders and executive management.
What You Will Do
- Manage GoPro’s Investor Relations by building relationships with existing investors, while developing and implementing a strategy to identify and market to new prospective investors as well as sell-side analysts.
- Coordinate across functional teams, such as finance, legal, product, hardware and digital/marketing, to gather information in preparation for quarterly earnings and executive presentations.
- Work closely with FP&A and the business to understand, develop and report on key operational and financial metrics.
- Collaborate with corporate communications, internal stakeholders and senior executives to support the development of financial press releases, Q&A documents, and other relevant materials.
- Provide strategic counsel to the senior leadership team, finance department, communications team, and others on all IR activities.
- Organize (virtual) conferences, road shows, and investor meetings, to support analyst, investor and other investment ecosystem events.
- Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on reporting, disclosure and regulatory matters.
Skills We’re Excited About:
- 5+ years leading / managing investor relations strategy at a high-growth organization; software and subscription models a plus
- 15+ years in relevant field; financial analysis and/or accounting background strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability of building strong relationships in the investor community
- Experience partnering with senior leaders to understand all elements of a business
- Strong business acumen, with analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to understand how business model decisions impact operating models
- Intellectual curiosity, a deep growth mindset, and the desire to constantly improve
- Master at developing presentations and communicating to a wide range of audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Bachelor’s degree, with an advanced degree preferred
