Remote, with occasional travel to UK offices

12 month FTC, Full time role

Our Technology and Transformation division are looking for a Senior Desktop and Mobility Engineer to join our wider Group Service Delivery function. The role will cover a variety of unique project work and BAU activities, across deployment, integration, and migrations, as well as complex 3rd line support.

Every day you will…

  • Use a centralised software deployment method to ensure all Acacium Group users are able to receive and use the software they need
  • Ensure regular testing of and deployment of patches/updates to ensure software and apps remain current and free from known bugs or security flaws
  • Use MDM tools, ensure all devices connecting to the Acacium Group network are appropriately managed and kept compliant to security standards
  • Manage and deploy a standardised build to desktops and laptops as well as maintaining builds used on Remote Desktop Services/Virtual Desktops
  • Ensure integration is achieved where possible with all O365 apps
  • Manage and report on the use of all installed software on end user devices to ensure Acacium Group remains compliant to licensing requirements and security
  • Manage and report on all Acacium owned hardware insuring trackability and ownership is maintained throughout its life cycle
  • Work on technical projects/operational support tasks for management or sponsors independently with minimal guidance
  • Draft reports and / or make recommendations to managers and project sponsors
  • Act as a key contributor and provide expert advice to other groups on technical and issues regarding Desktop and Mobility

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…

  • A demonstratable background carrying out 3rd line support
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong customer facing and communication skills
  • Experience with Intune or similar (SCCM, JMAF, MAC)
