  • Work closely with member companies and the Member Engagement & Development (MED) team to create compelling and sponsorable programs that satisfy both revenue and thought leadership goals. This includes working with sponsors on paid content and joining pitch calls to help MED sell through content-related inventory.
  • Manage the Editorial components of our Marketplace events (e.g. NewFronts).
  • Work with the Centers (Media, Programmatic + Data, Experience) and Research teams to support industry advisory boards of senior executives who provide insight around specific industry topics for events and other forms of thought leadership.
  • Identify and secure senior industry leaders to speak at conferences, and serve as central point of contact for speakers, in collaboration with the Events team.
  • Oversee speaker prep with all speakers and, if necessary, pre-show recording of content, testing and rehearsals.
  • Write copy for conference agendas, session titles and descriptions, event chair manuals, scripts, and assist with copy for event marketing materials.
  • Serve as on-site event producer and liaison among speakers, the Events team, and the AV/production teams.

Requirements:

  • Significant knowledge of the digital marketing industry, key companies, and individual players within it, as well as sharpest edge emerging trends.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8-10 years conference programming experience, preferably in the digital advertising and marketing industry OR the equivalent in digital marketing, advertising or journalism fields
  • Superb verbal and written communication abilities are a must, as are excellent research/analytical skills. Please submit a writing sample and/or a sample conference agenda including session titles and descriptions.
  • Candidate must be extremely organized/detail-oriented and have the ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Candidate must be able to work both independently and as a team player.
  • Candidate must be comfortable working with senior industry executives, both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of event industry practices—e.g. ability to create run of show documents, act as liaison among presenters, the Events team, and A/V production companies.
