Overview
Morning Brew is hiring a Senior Content Analyst to join the Growth team. Reporting to the Manager, Analytics & Insights, you will be responsible for helping grow our social and multimedia franchises by providing content teams with strategic and tactical insights and best practices.
Morning Brew is based in New York City but this role is remote-friendly for all candidates.
What you’ll do:
– Own all growth metrics for our social media handles; provide regular data reporting on content performance and the overall health of our social media accounts.
– Use social performance insights and social listening data to inform data-driven social strategies and tactics, and provide recommendations to the social media team.
– Identify areas of opportunity for growth and expansion.
– Work closely with editorial teams to ideate new types of social media posts, themes or accounts based on industry research and performance insights.
– Monitor the performance of social campaigns and provide insights and guidance to further optimize.
– Identify industry insights and trends to define and refine best practices.
– Closely collaborate with stakeholders in the growth and social media teams across all verticals (B2C, B2B, Education) to optimize and accelerate our strategic plans.
What makes you qualified:
– You have 3-4 years of experience with content, social media analytics or related functions in analytics.
– A skilled and confident communicator who can effectively deliver analytical insights to non-technical teams.
– Fluency in social platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
– Experience with listening tools and analytics tools such as Looker, Sprout Social, and Heap. You’re a quick learner who loves discovering new tools.
– Deep experience interpreting results and applying findings to growth/marketing.
– You love using analytics to drive content growth. Nothing brings you joy like finding a nugget of data in a spreadsheet that inspires bigger ideas and insights.
– You are a team player, results-driven and detail-oriented. You’re a natural self-starter who loves to get stuff done.
