Role: Senior Consultant (Lean Practitioner) REF 72031
Contract Length: 12 months
Location: Hybrid/Bristol – 60/40 split – Expectation to attend site for any meetings
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate
Security Clearance: BPSS

Spinwell is recruiting for a Senior Consultant (Lean Practitioner) for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR CONSULTANT (LEAN PRACTITIONER)

  • Lead the development and implementation of nuclear policies and procedures.
  • Review, monitor and report on all project movements and status.
  • Pro-actively raise any issues, which may result in unnecessary delays, and find solutions as appropriate.
  • Assess service and risk issues.
  • Develop sound operational knowledge.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR CONSULTANT (LEAN PRACTITIONER)

  • Has a comprehensive understanding of Lean methodologies (Essential)
  • Has extensive breadth and depth of relevant experience in the application of a range of Lean tools and techniques (Essential)
  • Has a strong desire to drive simplifications at all levels of the Company.
  • Has extensive experience of working in a high hazard or highly regulated industry
  • Has excellent leadership skills alongside robust and comprehensive technical knowledge/expertise
  • Has the ability to lead collaborative teams to identify and implement simplifications to the way we deliver work, and act as a role-model for driving out inefficiencies across the Company
  • Has excellent ability to problem solve, communicate effectively, influence others to improve, coach and develop, and deliver results.
