Job Description

Premier Talent Partners has joined forces with one of our banking and finance clients in San Francisco, CA search of their next Senior Compensation Analyst! This client is a leading provider of diversified financial services to emerging growth and mature companies in the technology, life science, private equity, and premium wine markets. This is a 4-month contract opportunity that has the potential to extend/convert permanent and is remote until safe to return to the office!

The Senior Compensation Analyst will provide support in the design, implementation, and administration of executive and equity compensation programs with extensive involvement in the preparation of materials being presented to senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare compensation-related proxy tables and assist with the preparation of the Compensation Discussion & Analyst (CD&A) for inclusion in the annual proxy statement
  • Support preparation of deliverables for Compensation Committee meetings and respond to ad-hoc requests from Senior Management or Compensation Committee Chair
  • Maintain equity and executive compensation structures in Workday, and prepare communications for program participants
  • Forecast and model potential plan design changes and their impact on executive and equity compensation
  • Administer a nonqualified Deferred Compensation Plan, interacting with a third-party record keeper to ensure the plan is operating in compliance with the plan document and Section 409A rules

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree is a must, advanced degree preferable
  • 4+ years working in the executive and equity compensation field from a design, implementation, administration, governance, and compliance perspective
  • A combination of consulting and in-house experience is ideal;
  • Knowledge of current market trends and practices within other industries would be ideal
  • Successful track record delivering high quality, accurate, and timely work
  • Experience administering compensation programs using Workday is preferable
  • Ability to balance competing priorities/projects with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines and providing high-quality work and service level
