Full-Time Senior Communications Specialist
Job Description
We’re searching for a Senior Communications Specialist within our Business Support Services team to help develop, promote, and advance internal communications across the company. You’ll have the opportunity to help business leaders strategize and communicate ideas and craft compelling messages to engage and motivate our global employees. You’ll join a collaborative team that values authenticity and diversity of thought.
So, what will you be doing as a Senior Communications Specialist?
- Partner with company leaders and key stakeholders to determine and prioritize communications needs
- Assist in communicating strategies, updates, or key messages for business leaders
- Draft, review, and edit written copy for business updates, mass emails, newsletters, and handbooks
- Engage and inform employees at all levels of the company, including global audiences
- Develop and adapt communication strategies or ideas into actionable communication plans
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree required, a degree in English, Technical Writing, Communication, or related field preferred
- 4+ years of corporate or business communications experience
- Strong business writing and editing skills (writing samples may be asked of you during screenings)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- To be a proven strategic thinker
Things we consider a plus:
- Experience with Adobe Design Suite
- Graphic design experience
