Full-Time Senior Business Change Manager

The employer is an internationally prestigious qualifications body. It is working on the replacement of its core assessment information system and is also introducing a new programme of digital assessments.

The Senior Business Change Manager will be responsible for leading the business change activities as part of the business change team. This will entail facilitation of the adoption of technology-enabled innovation for smarter ways of working across the organisation. The project is of the highest priority to the organisation as a whole.

This will involve leading and managing work streams including (a) business readiness, (b) business operating models, (c) client readiness, (d) internal and external communications, (e) training, and (f) the tracking of benefits.

The work will entail project management, the organisation of people and activities, and liaison across multi-disciplinary and multi-geographical stakeholders.

This is a unique, pivotal, and challenging, role. The role reports to the Head of Business Change.

This is a full-time and permanent post.

Flexible working patterns are promoted where the needs of the employer can also be met.

The role may be based either remotely from anywhere in the UK, but the post-holder must be happy to travel to our client’s HQ monthly.

The salary is circa £60,000.
Benefits include: flexi time – accrual of hours worked to equate to flexi leave days (up to 3 per month); 25 days annual leave + BHs; 6% employer pension contribution.

Responsibilities

  • Identification, planning and delivery of sustainable business change.
  • Provide leadership and management for Sponsors, Business Leads, project teams, Product Owners and other relevant colleagues to ensure that the change workstreams deliver against their objectives.
  • Provision of leadership and management of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work in partnership across teams to support the production of project plans, schedules and reports.
  • Work with business process owners to research, review, construct and present proposals for new or amended processes and policies.
  • Project manage and oversee execution of all business change workstreams to ensure delivery to the required standard and on time and budget.
  • Communicate, to internal and external stakeholders, a vision of change.

Specification

Qualifications

  • Qualification in project management, business analysis, or change management.
  • Degree-level qualification.

Experience

  • Experience of managing, or making a significant contribution to, large change projects with multiple groups of stakeholders.
  • A strong record of success in the delivery of business change around digital programmes or products
  • Experience of creating and managing project/programme plans, including prioritization and scheduling of conflicting tasks and effective use of available resources and budgets
  • Varied experience leading business readiness, operating model design, and process improvement activities
  • Evidence of working collaboratively across organisational boundaries to achieve the organisation’s goals.

  • Experience of data analysis, problem solving, and decision-making.
