Part-Time Senior Bar & Café Supervisor
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Bar & Café Supervisor to lead the day-to-day running of the Scratch Bar, oversee bar operations during events, supervise the Welcome Team Members to deliver outstanding service and deputise for the Bar & Operations Manager across seasons of shows, gigs, weddings and outdoor theatre.
You will work with the Bar & Operations Manager to make the Scratch Bar a destination venue. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, who is comfortable leading a team and overseeing aspects of the kitchen operation while maintaining high standards of service, hygiene and health & safety.
The Grand Hall, beautifully restored following a devastating fire in 2015, offers exciting commercial opportunity for the organisation, catering for a large programme of events including live music, dances, filming and weddings.
This is an ideal role for someone who wishes to develop their skills and experience in bars, kitchen supervision, cellar management, catering and business development. This role will involve working in a shift rotation, including evening and weekend work. We are looking for someone who takes initiative and shows leadership in managing a team and the organisational challenges of running a cafe and bar in a multi-use venue.
