Job Description
The University of North Texas (UNT) Student Health and Wellness Center (SHWC) is a full-service medical center offering all UNT students general wellness and specialty medical care. We are staffed with licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified lab technologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed nurses, and medical assistants.
We welcome all applicants to apply for the Senior Administrative Coordinator position! The purpose of this position is to be responsible for SHWC Administrative functions, such as onboarding, records retention, SHWC accreditation, etc., as well as manage quality improvement, assessment, and auditing functions.
Job Duties:
- Presents a professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers. Follows appropriate chain of command.
- Participates in all mandatory SHWC trainings and meetings, including committees, as assigned. Practices and follows proper privacy and security regulations.
- Participates/volunteers with SHWC events, including internal events, orientations, etc.
- Manages all internal SHWC human resources, employment, timekeeping, travel and interview and hiring processes and documentation.
- Oversees all SHWC reporting, including ensuring that all required reports are completed and submitted to the appropriate departments by noted deadlines, including the AVP Report, Statistics, Part Time Payroll Statistics, Annual Report, etc.
- Interviews, hires, and provides general supervision to all Administrative Student Assistants. Directly supervises assigned students.
- Responsible for processing all position upgrades, salary increases, employee terminations and/or other changes.
- Oversees records destruction for all SHWC departments.
- Manages the development and completing of SHWC assessment activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and five years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
