The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Adolescent Health, ScreenWise, Reproductive Health Section in Portland, Oregon has a fantastic career opportunity for a School-Linked Programs Coordinator (Program Analyst 3) to provide leadership and operational oversight of school health and school-linked service programs including the School Nursing Program (SNPP/SHINE), School-Linked Mobile Clinic Pilot Project, and School-Linked Telehealth Pilot Project as well as provide systems-level thinking for the School Based Health Center Program.

What you will do!
As the School-Linked Programs Coordinator, you are responsible for program development and implementation, evaluating implementation and effectiveness, as well as making recommendations and initiating strategies regarding the long-term investment and financial stability of the school health and school-linked service programs. This position tracks, identifies, and analyzes health systems priorities that may impact aforementioned programming.

Most of this work may be conducted remotely at an alternate worksite with full access to the needed operating systems and technology. However, there may be occasional in-state and out-of-state travel with overnight stays. Requires occasional weekend and evening hours. The Portland State Office Building located at 800 NE Oregon Street, Portland, OR 97232 is the primary office location but may be changed at any time at the discretion of the hiring manager.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience coordinating or administering a program.
Example:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years experience coordinating or administering a program.

- Experience working with Oregon healthcare and public health care systems.
- Experience supporting youth-centered programming with a focus on health and/or public health.
- Experience developing and implementing racial equity strategies to address health disparities.
- Experience in planning for and implementing technical assistance.
- Experience with project and program evaluation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, virtual meeting software (MS Teams, Zoom, GoToWebinar), and electronic information systems.
- Experience promoting a culturally competent and diverse work environment.
