The role: The Salesforce Administrator is a key role on our Customer Success Team. You see the big picture and understand at a technical level how Salesforce fits into the sales and support cycles of a company. In this role you will work closely across departments to identify business requirements and relate those to the technical implementation and management of Salesforce. The Salesforce Administrator provides the opportunity for the right person to participate directly with the business units in the development and deployment of all business processes that will ensure the effective line-of-business use of Salesforce.
What you will do:
- Maintain clearly defined organizational requirements that are effectively mapped to the technical capabilities of Salesforce.
- Provide business process definitions and improvements to ensure Salesforce’s continuous & effective utilization.
- Manage setup, configuration and provide on-going support for our enterprise Salesforce instance that includes: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot, Voice Integrations and Call Center functionality.
- Administration for all Custom Objects, Dashboards, Workflows, Data Imports, Data Exports, and provide custom reporting solutions for the business.
- Manage Salesforce database for data cleanliness.
- Responsible for all training materials and training support for end users as it relates to Salesforce and its ancillary business processes.
- Participate and understand effective Process Management and Salesforce Governance.
- Partner with all Salesforce users and internal stakeholders ensuring maximum Salesforce efficiency, reporting, and productivity.
- Manage and utilize testing and development sandbox environments.
- Effectively test all changes prior to introduction to our Production Instance.
- Provide timely communications, for changes as they relate to Salesforce or its supporting business processes, to the business units that utilize them.
- Own all problem resolution that arises during and after implementation of any and all changes to technologies or business processes that pertain to Salesforce.
- Understand the effective security of Salesforce via groups/roles, sharing rules and profiles.
- Partner with the database team and internal stakeholders to ensure GroupSync and Salesforce data is in sync.
- Provide timely and proactive reporting for all departments.
Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 4 – 7 years related experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Experience with Salesforce & Service Cloud required.
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator Certificate required or must obtain within 6 months of employment.
- Experience with Excel required.
- Experience with Pardot preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint.
- Other qualifications as required.
Core Business Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F; these hours may vary depending upon your position and work requirements.
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
