Job Description
- Maintain Ferring’s Field Sales Learning Management System and internal intranet with departmental updates and changes. Maintain and approve representative sample orders through the Order Portal. Monitor and answer inquiries to the Sales Operations support mailbox. Trouble-shoot and manage field-based inquiries.
- Work with Sr. Manager of Sales Operations on SOWs and management of Meetings Budget including creating and tracking meetings through excel budget spreadsheets.
- Ensure that business units and compliance reporting needs are fully met through data analysis to give consistent visibility and support business needs.
- Manage Ferring’s sample process for physicians and field. This includes tracking, reconciliation, sample loss/theft, assistance with FDA reports, monthly inventories, paper receipt forms, adjustments and closeout inventories.
- Facilitate and provide direction for required audits concerning samples and expenses.
- Partner with Training and Sales Management to develop and deliver all training for current and new field-based employees on SFA system, company policy, procedures, car fleet, SOP’s PhRMA guidelines, expense reports and sample management. Ensure that all Field Forces are trained on all Sales Operations aspects (expenses, sampling, car fleet, etc.).
- Update Sales Operations monthly reports and dashboards of data for expenses, fleet, samples and travel. Identify trends and metrics in expense and sample management. Manage Ferring’s internal intranet site with departmental data. Process annual and new hire Motor Vehicle reports and maintain driver’s license logs.
- Process on-boarding/off-boarding of all field-based employees. Work with vendors to assign new hires fleet cars, samples and trainings as well as retrieve all Ferring equipment for closeouts. Maintain Credentialing data and provide documentation as requested.
- Ensure that the SFA system gathers the required data for state and federal reporting requirements. Responsible for accuracy of all compliance and sales support databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in management or related fields
- 2-5 years in the pharmaceutical industry
- Good written, oral communication and presentation skills
- Prior vendor management experience
- Proven ability to identify problems/concerns and provide a well-researched recommendation
- Ability to provide high level support and to establish effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Needs to have a strong and thorough understanding of pharmaceutical compliance in regard to state reporting, PDMA and Pharma guidelines
- Proficient in database management including Microsoft office (excel, word, PowerPoint)
