Full-Time Sales & Marketing Operations Senior Manager
Job Description
Who are we looking for?
The Sales & Marketing Operations Senior Manager is charged with ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of a sales and marketing team. This role will also serve as the people manager/leader of the business development managers assisting with prioritization, sales achievement measurement and supporting this team’s continuous learning and development.
People management
- Focus on sales operations team enablement through setting accountability expectations, monitoring goal progress and enabling continuous training and development
- Management of marketing operations (the process, people, tools, initiatives outcomes)
Sales Forecasting & Marketing Support
- Fully understand the economics of customer contracts in order to effectively track and communicate relevant metrics and financial health of contract
- Fully understands the sales commission and bonus models including inputs. Is responsible for tracking and continuous improvement of data collection and visibility to commissionable and bonus eligible positions based on quota obtainment.
- Optimize Salesforce and our financial management and reporting practices to inform data analysis, and communication to support sales strategy proposals
- Prepare accurate reports for sales forecasts, board decks, account progress, and lead generation
- Provide inputs to company and board level sales forecasting communications
- Lead, engage, and leverage an array of subject matter experts and Wi-Tronix business stakeholders on the strategy and execution of proposals
- To have a successful sales team, the responsibility of training new and current employees on Wi-Tronix systems, technologies and products/services falls under the responsibilities of Sales Operations
Personal Accountability & Development
- Develop and maintain depth of relevant Wi-Tronix domain knowledge and competitive positioning
- Build sales operations mastery by evolving sales operations strategies through learnings.
- Ability to organize cross functional internal teams
- Work with stakeholders to define and execute the company strategy
Qualifications
What will you need?
- Bachelors’ Degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years of sales/marketing operations experience
- 3+ years people management/leadership experience
- 2+ years of experience in a business-to-business client-facing role building enterprise relationships (i.e. sales operatives, head of sales operations, sales operations specialist)
- Strong competence in how data drives decisions
- Familiarity with RFP process
- Internal project management
- Industry experience a plus (Railway, SaaS/Technology, Engineering)
- A strong command of how to collect data, evaluate data and share data that inform action and maximizes sales productivity
- Experience using and optimizing use of Salesforce as a CRM tool and other applications and platforms necessary to make informed and timely business decisions.
- Allocate time effectively, with the ability to prioritize and work and the agility to make quick adjustments as the business demands with minimal oversight
- Experience tracking sales commission programs a plus
