Full-Time Sales Development Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic individual to work in our downtown Boston office as a member of the Sales Development Team. This is a unique opportunity to play a major role on a small, exclusive team responsible for developing the sales pipeline needed to achieve our aggressive revenue goals. Our SDRs are the first point of inbound and outbound contact for new prospects to discuss Anaqua’s products and services. We leverage the latest tools, like SalesLoft, Drift, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Respond to and develop marketing leads into qualified sales meetings
  • Call on predefined prospect lists to generate new sales pipeline opportunities
  • Partner with sales and marketing to identify ongoing goals and needs; work to structure regionalized strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Nurture prospects according to sales and marketing strategies to qualify prospects and initiate warm hand off.
  • Leverage and expand both account and contact base with networking and research to develop additional leads for prospective clients. 

 

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • The ability to learn new technology and convey our message to customers quickly
  • Telemarketing, sales, fundraising, or customer service experience
  • Ability to be self-motivated, methodical, optimistic, and competitive
  • Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and creative problem-solving skills
  • Specific experience working with a CRM platform preferred, Salesforce.com a plus

 

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field preferred
