You have foundational category analyst/management skills and possess a deep understanding of Kroger and applicable Kroger systems (Stratum, 84.51, Market6, etc.). You’re an expert at “rolling up your sleeves” and are highly motivated to immediately help support our strategic initiatives at Kroger. Finally, you have a strong bias for action and are extremely intellectually curious; you enjoy rigorously analyzing data, uncovering strategic insights, and packaging pertinent information into creative selling stories/solutions that will ultimately help accelerate the Once Upon a Farm business at Kroger, leading to holistic category growth.
The Task at Hand:
The Sales Analyst will report to the Kroger National Account Manager and is accountable for ensuring our Kroger sales team and cross-functional and external partners are equipped with timely, accurate, and robust updates on our business/category performance drivers and opportunities. This individual will be responsible for reporting weekly sales performance in addition to the creation of selling tools and materials that can be leveraged by the Kroger sales team across each of the categories in which we compete. The Analyst will support ongoing project work as we develop new category strategies and stories to advance our business and partnership with Kroger. Key accountabilities will include inventory/data analysis, the creation of monthly performance scorecards, preparing custom/Ad Hoc category selling materials, and supporting the KOMPASS category review process by ensuring accuracy and optimization of Kroger data portals and resources. This individual will also support item set-up and maintenance in addition to regular contract submissions.
In This Role, You Will:
Reporting and Analytics
• Pull, analyze, and report weekly data and insights to the organization regarding Once Upon a Farm’s sales performance across each product category at Kroger
• Ensure on-time and accurate analysis and reporting is completed for the Kroger sales team & broader organization using Stratum/84.51/Market6. Serve as the primary point of contact with 84.51
• Create monthly business scorecards and tools for the Kroger sales team to help measure the business and guide actionable recommendations (goal to define clear account penetration, sales, and share goals)
• Have expert knowledge of category & competition and report out monthly
• Work closely with the Kroger NAM and Business Development team to promo scenario plan. Perform post-promo analysis to review promo performance and discuss results with the Kroger team as well as cascade positive results to Kroger
• Present key insights and business updates to Kroger counterparts during regular meeting cadence to help strengthen brand initiatives and become a trusted category partner
Distribution Planning and Accountabilities
• Support the Kroger account team by managing the Distribution Planning Lifecycle from annual planning, sell-in, and result tracking
• Work closely with the Kroger NAM to map out annual and long-range growth plans for Once Upon a Farm at Kroger
Category Management
• Through the analysis of Kroger-specific POS data, support strategic selling initiatives and develop impactful insights that meet category and retailer-specific needs
• Partner with the Once Upon a Farm Category Management team to provide Kroger custom insights leveraging Market 6 and Strategy for category reviews, new item analysis, promotional planning, and other ad hoc needs
• Craft robust fact-based selling stories utilizing retailer-specific POS data, panel data, shopper-card data, and other research
Special Projects & Initiatives
• Support project work as requested by the Leadership, Category, and Kroger account sales team
• Provide support in new item set-up and ongoing online maintenance in addition to periodic contract submissions
• Support Fresh Baby cooler rollout via the management of the cooler rollout process; leverage third-party cooler reporting to help drive cooler compliance and ensure flawless execution at retail
• Perform other duties as assigned
In This Role, You’ll Bring With You:
• 2-4+ years of Category Management experience in the food and/or beverage industry
• 3+ years of industry experience within Consumer-Packaged Goods/Fast Moving Consumer Goods
• Advanced knowledge of 84.51/Stratum and Market6 portals
• Expertise leveraging Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Extremely strong analytical skills
• Ability to establish and maintain strong internal and external working relationships
• Preferably located in, or near, Cincinnati, Ohio
• Up to 10% travel required: Although this role is a remote work-from-home position, we “Farmers” do meet as a company and/or as a department a few times a year. Anticipate possible travel up to a few times each year in addition to role-specific travel
• Genuine passion for improving childhood nutrition for a healthier and happier planet
• Desire to contribute to a dynamic, high-growth, purpose-driven work environment
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity while deeply understanding business needs
• Previous exposure to cross-functional work between Sustainability and Sales preferred
• Must reside in the United States to be considered for this position

Compensation:
• Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt
• The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses, stipends, equity, and role-specific perks.
