Job Description: **This position can be 100% remote, however, preference will be given to candidates that are local to the Raleigh, NC area.**
Role Value Proposition:
This position is responsible for supporting the development and integration of ransomware recovery framework into the *** Global Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program. The role will drive collaboration with operational resiliency groups across the organization and external entities to incorporate ransomware recovery options and procedures into steady state operations, posturing *** with preparedness and capability to quickly recover and minimize business disruptions following a ransomware attack. The position reports into the Director of Disaster Recovery with management reporting oversight into the VP of Global Business Continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the development and standardization of *** ransomware recovery options and procedures
2. Drive collaboration with operational readiness groups and external entities to integrate ransomware recovery procedures into all relevant program workstreams and steady state operations, including plans, playbooks, regular exercising, and testing
3. Develop and integrate ransomware recovery framework into the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program followed by transition to steady state operations, including policy, standards, roles, responsibilities, processes, templates, and compliance reporting
4. Provide ransomware recovery framework awareness, training, and support to BCM Program stakeholders ensuring successful testing, exercising, recovery, policy, audit, and regulatory compliance
5. Build strong working relationships with global program stakeholders to promote preparedness and operational resiliency for business services
6. Provide consultation and 24/7 support for global ransomware disaster declaration events
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
1. 5+ years’ experience in a business continuity, disaster recovery discipline
2. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
3. Certification with Business Continuity Institute (BCI), Disaster Recovery Institute (DRI), EU-Council, ISO or equivalent education and experience
4. Expert in coordination of Business Continuity exercises and Disaster Recovery tests for individual applications as well as data centers; includes setting scope, project planning, defining objectives, conducting test planning meetings, review of test plans, test implementation, issue tracking/resolution, status updates and test reporting
5. Knowledge of Data Center technology and experience testing multiple IT infrastructure platform types and technologies
6. Extensive knowledge of data management, including replication and backup technologies
7. Experience with incident response and incident management
8. Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cyber security framework
Preferred:
1. Experience providing input, maintaining, and building response plans incorporating ransomware recovery
2. Expertise in ISO 22301 and other international BC / DR standards
3. Understanding of Change Management process and systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
4. Familiarity with FFIEC standards
5. Proficient in MS Office suite including Project and Visio
6. Strong communication skills and experience leading and participating in global matrix teams
7. Familiarity with Business Continuity Exercising and parallels to Disaster Recovery Testing incorporating personal computer recovery
8. Experience with Business Continuity Management / Risk Management Systems (e.g., Fusion and Archer)
