Full-Time Retail Sales/Services Specialist
Job Description
Premier Talent Partners is seeking a Retail Sales Representative to join our client’s luxury eyewear company in Los Angeles, CA. If you have past experience working in a retail sales position, a general understanding of marketing practices, and are comfortable with up-selling – please read on!

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing, and after-sales services)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure racks are fully stocked
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- Step in to provide ad-hoc assistance to assist the Customer Service Center, Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or Dispensing Optician
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Use logic and reasoning to recognize errors, note the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, determine the causes of errors, and identify solutions to resolve issues and errors
- Able to understand multiple perspectives and their benefits and drawbacks, creating a compromise that satisfies all parties
- Reflect on personal and staff performance to make improvements or take corrective action
- Read, understand, analyze, and interpret documents such as company policies, product data, marketing materials, and other work-related documents
