Full-Time Retail Sales/Services Specialist

Job Description

Premier Talent Partners is seeking a Retail Sales Representative to join our client’s luxury eyewear company in Los Angeles, CA. If you have past experience working in a retail sales position, a general understanding of marketing practices, and are comfortable with up-selling – please read on!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing, and after-sales services)
  • Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
  • Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
  • Cross-sell products
  • Ensure racks are fully stocked
  • Manage returns of merchandise
  • Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers
  • Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services
  • Step in to provide ad-hoc assistance to assist the Customer Service Center, Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or Dispensing Optician

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required
  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Understanding of the retail sales process
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
  • Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
  • Basic math skills
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
  • Use logic and reasoning to recognize errors, note the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, determine the causes of errors, and identify solutions to resolve issues and errors
  • Able to understand multiple perspectives and their benefits and drawbacks, creating a compromise that satisfies all parties
  • Reflect on personal and staff performance to make improvements or take corrective action
  • Read, understand, analyze, and interpret documents such as company policies, product data, marketing materials, and other work-related documents
