Full-Time Research Coordinator
Job Description
Premier Talent Partners has teamed up with one of our BioTech clients in San Carlos, CA to find their next Research Coordinator. This position is not remote eligible, and candidates must be comfortable commuting to San Carlos. Responsibilities:
- Execute experiments to produce, purify, and characterize antibodies on our client’s platform
- Follow all laboratory protocols and promptly communicate results and difficulties
- Keep a detailed record of all experiments
- Work with the automation team to enable smooth platform operations
- Ensure all lab and platform operations run efficiently at our client including maintaining inventory and equipment
- Collaborate closely with team members to identify, design, and implement critical improvements to laboratory systems to enable higher throughput and efficiency
- Nice-to-haves include experience working with antibodies, experience using cell-free protein extracts, excitement to work with software tools
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or Masters degree in biological sciences
- 1+ years of industry experience preferred
- Strongly self-motivated individual with attention to detail
- Hands-on experience in protein expression, purification, and characterization in an academic or industry setting, including basic knowledge of protein purification and characterization techniques (e.g. SDS-PAGE, ELISA, etc.)
- Driven, team-oriented, excited to work in a dynamic start-up environment opportunity with an opportunity to publish, and have a strong desire to learn
