Position Summary
The Research Associate II performs research functions within the Vitoux Program on Aging and Prevention. The position will be required to assist the Vitoux Director in meeting the research and training objectives of the Vitoux Program.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the supervising Research Specialist, the primary duties will include research participant recruitment and follow-up, data collection, entry and processing, and managing participant scheduling and payments. This role will assist the Vitoux Director with managing research training activities and will help support trainees. This role will coordinate the ordering, inventory and maintenance of equipment, instruments and data collection and analysis tools. The role may assist with the development, implementation, and refinement of research processes and procedures as well as data collection processes. This position conduct research according to study protocols that investigate lifestyle and behavioral health interventions for adults with chronic diseases.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field required.
- A minimum of one year related research experience.
- Knowledge of research concepts, practices and procedures.
